Second Tooth

Adi lost her second tooth in one week! Both bottom teeth are gone!

3 Months

Holden is 3 months old today! I cannot believe it. Our baby is growing soooo fast. Yesterday he had his 3 month checkup. He is 16.0 lbs. and 25 inches long and the Dr. said he looks great. The Dr. increased the amount of Zantac he wants me to give him to continue to help with his reflux. He said he will grow out of it and hopefully within the next few months. Holden also had to get his first set of shots - three of them. I gave him a little Tylenol right before his appointment and he did great. Of course he cried but then I nursed him while in the office and he calmed down. He fell asleep in the car on the way home and slept for 4 hours, only waking to eat once. He had a bit of a rough night last night and another rough day today (he's hardly slept a wink today until right now). I think it's just from the shots, poor baby. I'm sure by tomorrow he'll be feeling back to normal again.

Tooth Fairy Visit

Last week Adi lost her very first tooth!! She was so excited and nervous about losing it. She would wiggle it constantly and finally it came out last Tuesday morning as her and her mom pulled in to school. That night at her mom's, the tooth fairy brought her $5! Lance wanted to match it, so in total she got $10 for her first tooth! What the heck? When I lost my teeth I think the fairy only brought me a couple of quarters.

Spring Is Here!

The weather has been beautiful this week! I love it! I planted a pot full of tulips in late November and they are starting to bloom - I am so excited. I am not much of a green thumb so hopefully I don't kill these because I think they are so pretty.

Holden and I decided to take advantage of the 70 degree weather and we headed out back for awhile. I had to create some shade somehow and the only umbrella we have in the house is Adi's little pink kitty umbrella. Needless to say it didn't work all that well, and considering Holden doesn't like to lay down much (he much prefers to stand), we didn't last long.


He loves to hold his arm straight out - I call it the Superman pose.

He's looking at me like "okay mommy, enough with the pictures already".

Johnny Jumper

Daddy decided to get Holden a jumper even though mommy doesn't think he's ready for it yet. Granted, he is very strong and prefers standing over sitting, but I still think it's a little early. Although he didn't jump around in it, he did seem to enjoy himself while sitting in it. He liked it when daddy swung him back and forth. I'm sure he'll be going crazy in it in a month or so.

Lazy Sunday

We had a very lazy Sunday last week. It was windy and really cold. So while daddy was braving the weather on the golf course, the rest of us were in bed watching Enchanted.

And when I say the rest of us, I mean all the rest of us...

Silly Girl

Adi decided she wanted to bust out her face paints and paint her face all by herself. Here's what she came up with. I thought it was hilarious and had to snap a photo of it! She didn't stop here though. I guess she forgot they are called 'face' paints and she started painting her neck and arms too! It took a nice warm bath to get it all off.

Kimberly...here's another example of those silly outfits that are only just beginning for Rilyn! Gotta love the sparkling red shoes with the plaid pants and cupcake socks!!

Just Like Daddy

I came into the bedroom to hop into bed only to find my boys sleeping already, which was really cute. But what really got me was that they were sleeping the same way! They both had their left arm bent with their hand on their face. Holden's hand was actually on his nose too, but by the time I grabbed the camera it had slipped away a little. Like father like son!

Gran's Visit

Gran came out to visit us last week for a whole week and we had so much fun. We were very spoiled while she was here. Adi got to go to Chuck-E-Cheese, Hula's, Chili's, and do lots of shopping. I got to do things that I haven't done since before the baby was born, including running in the park with the dogs and picking up our clothes at the cleaners! Holden had lots of cuddly time and play time with Gran. And we all got tons of yummy homemade food!
